This is a very lightweight rain jacket that keeps my son dry. It is not warm so if it's a cold rainy day he needs to have a sweater under.

Very good price on a quality windbreaker/rain jacket. Bought for my son's class Washington DC trip. I measured and found it true to size chart. I bought this knowing it has no inner lining, which gives more options. He wore it to Arlington on a rainy day over his hoodie and was comfy and dry. I knew he wouldn't wear a poncho nor use an umbrella (he's 14). He's 5 ft and is about 100 lbs, is quite slim. Ordered a size L (14-16) which is his usual size although he occasionally finds a men's xsmall or small that fits him esp if the garment isn't very long in sleeve or otherwise.

It's WAY thinner than I was expecting. I was hoping for a jacket to still keep warm but this is really just a shell. I probably should have read the reviews better so it's on me. But I think it could have been described better to let people know how thin it is. It will still get the job done though. Looking forward to my little guy using it.

Is this for kids?I bought an XL (my size) and couldn't even get into it. Total pos. 4 sizes too small. And I needed this NOW. Big storms here in Cal.

This jacket is extremely thin. Definitely needs to go over a sweater for any warmth to be had.

My 6 year old son loves this jacket. It's light weight, thin and keeps him dry. Machine washable and dryer safe.
