You can pay more for a lat bar I suppose, but why? This is very well made and is as good as any bar you will use in a gym.

It's a solid stainless steel bar... not much can go wrong with it. I don't mind the little black balls on the ends that some are complaining about.

This bar is actually a bit heavier than I expect it to be. I think it is around 10lbs. This is kind of a problem since i have a home made pull machine. Nonetheless strong and sturdy

Four stars because it's a great bar, one star off because it's not the bar that's shown in the ad. The bar advertised does not have balls on the ends, but the one you get does. I hate these balls because they break and then you're left with a bar with a threaded hole in the end. They should advertise it correctly.

The bar is the correct length, it's solid and not hollow, and a great price. I like the fact that it is textured all the way through.

This is a very heavy bar. Gym quality for a very reasonable price. I'm very satisfied and would recommend to anybody looking for a pull down bar.

Just what I expected, it is pretty heavy though and not hollow. So don't make the mistake of taking the weight off while this bar is attached or you're in for a surprise.

When I got the box I was concerned that it was bent but the contents were fine. I originally wanted a straight bar but since this was only a few bucks more and longer than my current lat bar it was the perfect purchase.

Just received this bar in the mail yesterday. Used it this morning for the first time. Nothing much to say about it other than it is a solid lat bar, good knurling and it seems to do the job as expected. Mine came with the rubber knobs on the ends which at first I was not too thrilled about, but it may be beneficial if I ever turn and bump my head into it while hanging. Overall a good purchase for $28 bucks and free shipping! If you are looking for a basic wide solid lat bar then you will not be dissappointed with your purchase of this bar.

Great wide bar, solid steel construction. The knurling in the bar is just right to not slice your hands up. This bar is very well made. Feels good. The length of the bar is wide enough to really work the shoulders and lats. The price is great and it arrived in three days. Don't hesitate to get this bar.

The bar is well made. It's Heavy duty, wide enough and the knurling feels good (not too chainsawy). The bar I got has protective plastic balls at the end of each handle (probably a good thing) but doesn't match the picture.

This was exactly what I was looking for as I build my own personal gym in my garage. Using a pully system, I am able to do about 12 different exercises and this bar was a perfect addition. It is as good as any I have seen in commercial exercise facilities. Very good price as well...delivered in my hands for $28!!

I have a Body Solid weight machine and the original lat bar bent under 150lbs, so I was looking for a solid lat bar for a cheap price. Other solid lat bars were twice the cost so I felt I was taking a chance without seeing a review but it paid off. This lat bar is heavy duty and quality made. There is no possible way I could bend this lat bar and very happy with my purchase. Don't hesitate to buy this.

This lat bar is true to length 48", and is made from solid steel. Has great grips machined in, and you can really get that shoulder width necessary for maximum gain.
