I purchased this to use following hand surgery. While the weight was perfect, matching the one I used in physical therapy. However, it was a little too soft for my grip exercises . It's still a good value for the money.

We use this for a senior who sits a lot. He can sit and watch tv and toss it hand to hand. This is just the right weight for him to gain some arm strength without injury.

I love this ball and have bought 6 so far, as i keep giving them to clients. Great for glute rolling, and back stretching. Other balls are smaller for 2 lbs and overfill which makes them hard, this is nice, less than 50 full. I love that its pliable and conforms to body well

I bought this to continue physical therapy for my elbow/forearm, as I thought it was similar to the ball I used at PT, but it's not. The ball I used at PT was uniform density and balanced - it was only 1 lb, but the entire ball was uniform and I was able to rapidly bounce it against the wall and also perform an exercise where I drop the ball about an inch then rapidly snatch it back up, and repeat. [extend arm straight out with ball in hand and palm facing down. Release the ball, then quickly grab the ball while keeping hand orientation the same. repeat until forearm muscles burn]This product however is not uniform density. It feels like there is just a bag of sand inside the ball, so the weight is correct, but the balance is not there. When I try to perform my exercise of dropping/catching rapidly the sand makes it feel unbalanced because it is sloshing around inside the ball. Similarly the ball does not bounce against the wall because the sand just sloshes around as you do it.Besides that issue there is nothing wrong with the ball. This issue is a deal breaker for me though, because I'm unable to use it for the only thing I need it for. I read reviews before purchasing, and although it was mentioned it was filled with sand, I did not realize how much of a balancing issue that would create for my personal situation.

I find weight work boring. These are comfortable and consequently I use them more often. I am gaining strength.

One of the best product's for rehab. As someone with limited mobility due to severe gout in all my joints this fitness tool along with dedication to improving one's health has gotten me back to being functional and active. If you are looking for something multifunctional for physical rehab or just to build strength look no further

I needed a weighted ball for some home PT exercises. I couldn't find exactly what my PT uses, but this seemed close. I also took it in to show my physical therapist, and she said it was perfect for what I needed, then showed me a few extra ways to use it. My kid immediately latched on to this ball and keeps it with his toys, and it was the first toy he asked to take to his grandparents' house for a 2-night visit. He's a 4yo with sensory needs, so I'm hoping to use it for some fun heavy work for him.

I was looking for a 1 or 2 pound weight that I could hold in 1 hand to do dead bugs. This turns out to be perfect. I use it every day. It's very sturdy too.

I just completed 3 months plus of physiotherapy for a right rotator cuff injury diagnosed to be shoulder arthropathy. One of the therapy exercises involved a weighted ball similar to this one. I am continuing to do several of the exercises at home now and this exercise ball fits the bill.

My physical therapist assigned me some exercises that necessitate this ball. I bought it, and love it for what it is. Easy to grab, perfect for my odd engage/catch and release exercises I do for my shoulders.I love it so much, that I take it with me on trips. And TSA does not know what to make of this ball. Every time I've sent this ball through the scanner, TSA has pulled it out of my bag and done a chemical analysis of the ball. My family now calls it the Susball. And I love the Susball, look forward to the days I get to work out with it.
