I really like these shorts. In fact, I've ordered a second pair. I use wear them to exercise inside the house, and sometimes sleep with them.The only complaint I have is that 1/2 of the string came out after a wash, and could not push it back in around the waste. I ended up cutting that half off. However, the elastic is still strong enough that I do not need the string to tighten the fit.

The heather grey (true to size) are mixed cotton, which are softer, but the black are all cotton, which are just a tad smaller. Thicker material than what you might find in a regular store, which is why I buy these.

I ordered three of one type of these to replace three that I've worn out. I got two different types of shorts. One of them i really like, the other is too binding for my taste. They are similar, but not the same so be aware.

I knew these were basic but they function well. The waist band isn't very comfortable but after a bit you don't pay attention.

Theure comfortable and fit well. Don't shrink when washed. However, the draw strings are cheap and stretch easily.

The waist seems to be okay.maybe slightly smaller than I expected. The crotch area is somewhat tight and uncomfortable.

I bought a black pair and gray pair in 3x. The black pair fits perfectly and the gray pair is huge. I wish there was some uniformity in sizes. Other than that they're pretty good shorts.
