My 11-year old son wanted one for fun. He loves it. I got a great deal on a used one in great condition. It's comfortable and has good padding. Both younger and older children use it too, so it fits a variety of face sizes.

Does what it should. Fit my 7 year old with an Easton skull worn backward. Easy to rip off when needed, and padding is comfortable, particularly in the heat.
