Exactly as described. Much easier than fingers or the good old plastic spoon. Since our 11-12 year old team shares the same field as the 9-10 year old team, we have to move bases after each practice/game, and this tool really does get the dirt out.

I had to order 4 more to replace ones from the previous year that have broken. They came last week and we promptly went out and tested them out. These are an extremely sturdy tool. The handle has a smooth finish on it that will protect anyone from getting any splinters. The ones we had purchased before were approximately $20 apiece so we weren't sure based on the price, but dont let this fool you. This Dig out tool is definitely worth more than they are charging so snatch them up before they realize they can get more for it.
