Very soft and easy for little hands to catch. Squishy enough to be a good indoor toy. Of everything our son received this past Christmas, this is the toy he continues to play with every day.

It's a nice soft football for indoors. I was worried it would be too small, but it's just right, about 6-7 inches, guessing. So, it's not the size of a quarter or anything.
