My 11 year old daughter plays Juniors softball. She has a tendency to shy away from it when it's coming towards her. Her coach suggested that she try a fielding mask. It wasn't a total solution, but it does boost her confidence in not getting hurt, significantly. She's getting considerably better at chasing the ball instead of avoiding it!

it is what it is. works well for what we need it for but feels a little heavy to put on my 6 years old. she didn't complain so guess its all good.

My daughter is a big 6yo this seems to fit her ok I could imagine if she was a small 6yo it wouldn't fit. Seems to be made of good quality

We looked at similar ones at Dicks and they were $50 , the plastic ones were $40These are better feeling than the ones we saw in the store and were $20 cheaper.They fit great and are well padded
