This plate is heavy duty. Someone walked off with a my cheaper plate at the batting cages. That one was flimsy. Saw this one and purchased it to replace my other one. Way better quality and is a lot higher. This gives the plate more weight which helps it to keep in place. Use it to set up batting practice at our neighborhood park. Buy this one over the thinner one. Worth every penny!

Bought this home plate for my 7 year old grandson to practice pitching! Plate seems to be sturdy while portable! Reasonable price.

Having a throw-down plate is important for tee work, soft toss, being able to run multiple hitting stations in team practice, or even just for some backyard batting practice. A lot of the other thin rubber bases are not very durable but this home plate is much thicker than those and seems like it will hold up well. At the time of me writing this, the price was $15 which I think is fair.

Use this for my daughter to pitch and target the home plate. This thing is heavy and sturdy. Could easily be used in a scrimmage if needed. Great price. Highly recommend.
