I am normally a men’s large or x-large, but I saw that this coat was pretty big in the picture so I ordered a medium. It’s still longer and wider than I would have wanted, but I think that’s just the style. I got this for a Halloween costume (Chef Gordon Ramsay), and I was not disappointed with the quality.

I bought a medium for my cooking class assuming it would run small and I'm usually an adult small in tshirts. I definitely should have gone with a small. I didn't realize it was unisex sizing. True to size I'd say. Sleeves shouldn't be full length but mine are since I got it a size too big and it should fit loose.
