Seems to be nice and lightweight. He wanted something not to hot because kitchen work is no joke, but also stood up to potential grease splatters. Seems to do the job.

I really liked these. Comfortable and versatile. A bit see-through so check your boxers. Also ran a bit tight in the waist so size up. Otherwise, I bought these to wear for a Halloween costume and have used them as some very pleasant lounge pants since.

Bought these for my 15 yr son as uniform pants for school. He likes them baggy and so I bought a larger size. These feel well-made and not thin. I liken them very similar to the feel of Dickies pants but much more affordable. They have a stretchy band around the back for expansion. The close with an easy snap. My son likes them. I think they would be great as work pants and consider them a good buy.
