This is the best Sausage Gravy I have every eat. From one to Ten I gave it a 20.

Wile certainly not healthy, this is really good. We like it over toast and have had it for breakfast as well as dinner with a side salad. It tastes like the 'dried beef gravy' my Mother used to make.......she was born in 1908 so it was always from scratch using the dried beef which came in a very small jar and evaporated milk. This Chef-mate creamed sliced beef is positively just as good......sorry, Mother.

Good for large get togethers. We hosted a church party for 45 people. Used two cans and had product left over. No complaints.

For years we've had biscuits and gravy at a specific place on vacation. All this time, I thought someone was in the back slaving over the stove making it fresh all day long. We now have several cans in the pantry and each time we eat it is like being on vacation again.

I have been using this product for the last ten years. I do add extra cooked sausage, but you could easily omit that step and serve 34;as is34; for a delicious and heavenly sausage gravy. If the quantity is intimidating, just portion off and freeze - it keeps very well.

Bitter from too much chili powder. Bad aftertaste it did not used to have.Needs more tomatoes, more onions, more cumin and way less chili powder. Quick fix?Throw a whole chopped onion in a pound of ground beef cook until well done , add two 28 ounce cans of diced tomatoes one teaspoon of ground cumin and one teaspoon of Zatarains Ground cayenne.Add a can of drained yellow corn if you like a chipolte style chili.Then add in this can of chili. Remember chili scorches easy so watch it close or use a double boiler.

Not a big fan. This is edible, but extremely greasy and very salty. Don't even think about following the microwave instructions. You end up with a layer of grease on top (which at least pours off easily) and a very unappetizing slop. Stovetop is always the way to go with corned beef hash so you can crisp it up. This stuff took forever to manage that. One thing to say about it though is that it does come back from being frozen in almost the same state as freshly opened.

This is the best!! Old time diner corned beef hash. You definitely need a good hot pan, splatter guard to fit, put your serving in and let it be that way the delicious crust is crispy goodness. Flip (not stir)2-3 Times top with poached, soft boiled actually anything you want. I serve with hot sauce.

I fully expected this to taste different than when my Mother would make it many years ago. I was surprised to see that this is made with cheddar cheese. Mom never used any cheese in her chipped beef cream sauce, so the taste was much different than what I was hoping for. I also expected it to be too salty, it wasn't for me. There was, however, an after taste I wasn't fond of. Probably the cheese. I would eat this again, (on toast) but it isn't something I would have a big hunger for. Average taste, the sauce was the perfect thickness and there was plenty of meat in there.
