Chene's Fluke Anchors have a unique shank configuration that allows the flukes (sharp points that dig into the bottom) to penetrate deeply with a 45-degree set. Because the Chene anchor has a 45-degree angle, it has four times the holding power of other slip ring anchors. As a result, it uses 70% fewer anchor lines and functions best with a line-to-depth ratio of about 2 to 1. The slip ring's distinctive form also makes retrieval simple. With welds that run the length of neighboring surfaces and zinc coating that protects against the toughest environments, including saltwater, solid steel construction is more robust.
