Its not a true yellow as the picture shows its more of a green-yellow.

These break very easily.

I guess it's my fault for not paying attention to the thickness.... but they are VERY thin. Also the material comes off of the wire quite a bit on the ends. Overall it's a pipe cleaner, but I can barely use these. NOT for the serious crafter!

The ones I got (Creativity Street Chenille Stems/Pipe Cleaners 12 Inch x 6mm 100-Piece, Assorted Colors) are cheap - the material sheds quickly and the ends of the wire poke out. Within a few seconds of bending and twisting a couple, small tufts of the material were falling into my hands and leaving bare areas on the wire. The ends of the wire are very noticeable and sharply poked my toddler constantly. When my toddler would wave it around, it definitely left some scratches on skin. Had to twist the ends onto themselves, to try to hide and soften the ends. Will not buy again.

These are VERY skinny. I am attaching a picture of one of these pipe cleaners next to one from a package I bought at a big chain store. Because these are so skinny, they aren’t very soft. They are almost rough and the wires stick you when you try to bend them.

Shed fluffy stuff everywhere. Colors are a bit blah.
