Mission: Children''s Cancer Research Fund is dedicated to finding a cure for childhood cancer by providing funds to the University of Minnesota for research and training relating to the prevention, treatment and cure of childhood cancer. The organization also educates the public about pediatric cancer and supports quality-of-life programs for pediatric cancer patients and their families.
Target demographics: pediatric cancer patients, their families and friends
Geographic areas served: Patients have been treated from all 50 states and 21 countries. Researchers trained in pediatric hematology/ oncology and blood and marrow transplantation at the University of Minnesota work in 23 states and 5 countries.
