Mission: Connecting our community to challenge poverty by feeding bodies and souls.

Results: In 2018,1,065 different families of 1,464 adults and 871 children received food, personal care, household cleaning and other necessities through our Rainbow Choice Food Pantry. There were a total of 4710 visits which touched 10,577 people - nearly 20% of all residents who live in the 45223 area. On Monday evenings, on average 64 guests and 13 volunteers gathered at Phil’s Place for a nourishing meal – totaling nearly 3000 guests and over 5000 meals served. Our Grace Place Shelter, in cooperation with Interfaith Hospitality Network, welcomed 58 families of 65 adults and 97 children. Through it all, we are an oasis in the food desert and a shelter from life’s storms.

Target demographics: low-income and under-resourced households at or below 200% of the poverty level

Direct beneficiaries per year: 500 families each month with food, shelter and/or other essentials.
