This product is a great and worthwhile upgrade for the print bed. It comes with a magnetic and removable print bed that adheres to the metal plate with 3m adhesive. Just stick the lower layer to the metal plate itself and apply the actual print surface to the layer you just applied. Also the surface is great for having printed pieces stay put on the bed.

The polarity of the magnetic bed is 90 degrees from the original on my ender 3. when using with the magnet already applied to the bed, this new sheet I had to rotate 90 degrees to get a strong hold. Because of this, I had to trim off that extra tab that normally is towards the front of the printer.

Bought 3 of these. Ruined two. Figured it out on the third. Don't use PETG on this as it binds too well to the mat and undeveloped the mat when you take it off. As well make sure you turn the mat on the magnetic pad and it grips firmly before you stick the mat to the heat bed. Made this mistake twice. Since then works perfectly every time!

For everyone that keeps reviewing that the magnet barely sticks... rotate the top layer 90 degrees and BLAM , it will stick strong. Magnets have polarity, once you rotate them to the proper orientation they will stick and not move during printing. Also, make sure to heat your bed before trying to remove the first couple of prints, when they are new, your prints will take some effort to remove until it breaks in...

When I purchased the Ender 3 S1 printer, I didn't even realize that the top plate was actually a magnetic mat (I was new to 3D printing at the time). Anyway, this product is not as rigid (or magnetic) as the one that comes with the printer. That said, after re-leveling my printer, everything worked great.

I do like this bed to a point. I do have all the beds for different occasions that I print with so far, I use this for textures in the bottom layer.

NOT THE OEM magnetic pad (I know the Ender isn't a high-end printer to begin with, but the magnetic plate cover it came with originally was excellent... this replacement is NOT). Warps and bubbles up when bed is heated, and the magnetic pull is very sub-par from the original magnetic build surface.

Ordered this to replace the glass plate and it has been a great add on for my printer. Easy to install; removal is very simple and keeps me from breaking my prints - especially the small and more fragile ones. Save yourself some misery and pick up one of these!

I have an Ender 3 v2 with the glass plate and always struggled with adhesion and removal issues. This surface worked right out of the package using Reprapper PLA with no changes in temp setting (213/60) or need for a glue stick. The model peeled off easy.

I wanted to replace my original bed surface on an ender 3 pro and was led to believe I would need to peel off the adhesive portion in order to use a new magnetic bed. This is a perfect replacement. You don't need to remove anything. Leave the old magnetic surface on your bed. For some reason the magnetic orientation is 90 opposite from the original, so adhesion is nil. The solution is: Cut off the small tab at the front so it can fit rotated 90. The tab is not necessary anyway. Rotate the surface 90 and the magnetism holds it solidly. It is a perfect replacement for the original. The adhesive magnetic surface is not used, perhaps they should sell it without that at a lower price.
