These are great quailty and fit well in the waist.I found that these run rather short, just below the bum. I think these types of skirts are just made like that but if you are looking for leg coverage these aren't for you. For reference my daughter is 13 and not even 5 feet tall and they barely cover her butt and she's a firls size 10/12 or womens 0 or xs.

Great skirt! After trying 3 different styles from Target, Walmart, and Old Navy, my 13-year-old is finally happy with her school skirts! She typically wears a 10/12, but after reading the reviews, I decided on a 7. And, it fits perfectly!

I got these skirts for my daughter for school, she has to wear uniforms. I think pricing was great and when she tried them on they fit her so well. I'm planning on get her three pair of the navy blue ones after are vacation.

My big girl wears a 20 plus and these were big. She had to wear a belt. My suggestion would be to go 1 size down. It's still a really cute skort and she looks super cute in it. Nice quality.

Okay the other reviews are totally wrong, they say go down a few sizes because it runs big, it may just be their experience but personally, get ONE size down. I ordered a 10 and I am normally a 14, the 10 was too small so I bought a 14. Was too big then finally landed one the perfect 12! The skirt. Is overall pretty nice and true to size.

I really like this skirt. The quality is great! The only complaint I have is that the sizing is definitely not true to size. My daughter would normally be a 18 in almost every other brand and the 14 1/2 fit with room. Other than that it is a wonderful item that seems like it will last.
