This product was purchased as a replacement for an existing rusted out cleanout door. The new door is fastened to the frame with a screw. A positive feature of this design. Another feature of this product is that four screws can beutilized to secure the frame to the structure of the opening. I'm glad I purchased this product.

Installed this clean out door inside on a newly build fireplace. Install was quick and easy, just tighten a few bolts to hold the frame in place and that is it. Looks great on the new stone and has held up nicely since I purchased and installed it several years ago.
