Mission: Our mission is to collect new and clean, gently used quality clothing from the community, and distribute it free-of-charge to low-income school-aged children in a welcoming space.

Results: In August 2018, we opened a warm and inviting boutique-like store where kids from low-income families can choose a wardrobe of clothes - without paying anything! Since then, with the support of the community, we have given away 1,600 wardrobes of clothing to over 900 children in Arlington, VA.

Target demographics: Low-income students (elementary to high school) and their families

Direct beneficiaries per year: In 2019, we delivered more than 1,220 wardrobes to kids, totaling nearly 32,500 items of clothing

Geographic areas served: Arlington, VA

Programs: We provide a full wardrobe of clothes twice per year to school-aged children from qualifying families - completely free-of-charge. Each wardrobe includes: 5 new underwear and socks, 5 tops, and 4 bottoms. As available, kids can also select dresses, pajamas, shoes, winter jackets, and formal wear.
