Mission: CoachArt’s mission is to create a transformative arts and athletics community for families impacted by childhood chronic illness. CoachArt lessons are completely free of charge to the children and their families. Due to the physical, emotional and financial burdens that these families endure, CoachArt is providing a service that would otherwise be inaccessible to them. In this creative learning environment, CoachArt students regain self-esteem, social skills, and independence.

Target demographics: children with chronic illness and their siblings

Direct beneficiaries per year: students by providing nearly 20,000 hours of lessons.

Geographic areas served: Los Angeles, San Diego, and the San Francisco Bay Area
