Mission: Our mission is to inspire, inform, and support families to build strength, confidence, and resiliency. We are unique in that our programs leverage innovative technologies to offer on-demand learning and resources while still providing compassionate, individualized one-on-one support.

Target demographics: We have a vision of flexible, accepting, gracious, strong, confident, and resilient families for every child.

Geographic areas served: Our mission is to inspire, inform, and support families to build strength, confidence, and resiliency.

Programs: We believe that every child needs a champion, and every champion needs support. At the Coalition, we call parents and caregivers champions. Whether they are parenting through foster care, adoption, or kinship care, champions are the building blocks of strong families. Research confirms something that we at the Coalition also believe: when parents and caregivers feel confident in their roles, they can be at their best. They can be engaged, responsive, and nurturing. We support champions through the following offerings and opportunities:
•Training and Education—Our training platform, the Champion Classrooms, is an online portal connecting families to a wide variety of available live and on-demand opportunities. Families have unrestricted and unlimited access to the classes and courses they have purchased and are welcome to revisit those trainings to refresh or sharpen their knowledge at any time.
•Information and Support—Our team of compassionate Resource Specialists listens to the unique needs of individual parents and caretakers and responds with tailored, targeted resources, information, and referrals. Our staff has further engaged in training to help facilitate problem-solving and coaching solutions for those who reach out to us with questions or concerns.
•Information Creation & Curation—Throughout our history, our team has created a library of over 100 informational tip sheets on various topics relevant to foster, adoptive, and kinship families. In addition, we have curated a collection of newsletters, books, DVDs, and other online links from credible and trustworthy sources. All of our programs and services are created and curated to help families grow in confidence, strength, and resilience. Simply stated, we believe that when parents do better, children do better.
