Bought to replace broken Dewalt titanium bit. Bosch Cobalt bit was less flexible, drilled a truer hole, and kept an edge longer than its Dewalt titanium counterpart.

Outstanding performer when drilling steel. I've used this on 1095, O1, and of course mild steels upto an inch thick.

I drilled 6 holes thru 1/4” steel plate. I imagine it would have done a 7th. No problems. I will likely use it once more in the next 20 years.

I am using this drill bit for 3mm magnets. It's the perfect size and drills in very nicely and without much effort. Very strong.

This bit replaced one from a BD set that broke. This seems much sturdier than the original, so I hope it lasts longer.
