I'm 24 years old and bought the 8-14 year old size since I didn't want to have the floppy bit on the top of my head. I stressed when buying this because all the adults that ordered this advised in their reviews they ordered “youth”. I decided to take a risk on the 8-14 year size and I'd say it's basically the same as the “youth” size. I'm happy with it!

Read the reviews and orders a kids size for my toddler. Good thing I did, the kids size is tiny! I ordered from actual Carhartt website last year for my daughter and the kids size comparison is crazy off. Order from Carhartt.

Got this hat for my 6 month old, it's a little big on the top/ has extra space, but doesn't fall below his eyes. He will be able to wear it for the next couple of years, love it!
