It was a gift for husband, he needed a warm hat for walking. This cap gives that for cold weather.

The hat is warm enough for runs in the upper 30's, haven't tried it in freezing weather yet. The ear flap is a nice feature, as you can flip it up when it is warmer and down when it is colder. Really like Trail Heads products in general, all excellent quality.

Visor is awesome and helps keep wind from circulating under my glasses and making my eyes water on breezy days . I also love how flaps cover my ear lobes andt don't stop short like lots of hats do . My Bluetooth earbuds wear comfortable even with flaps down . I'd say Size is accurate and it's my new favorite winter hat ! Great Quality too

Not as snug and form fitting as depicted. Unfortunately, if your head size favors smaller than normal, you have no choice in this one size fits all. Or grow a full head of hair, unless Mother Nature keeps getting a laugh at us older geeks and younger vain ones with wigs and implants.

Bought this for winter golf wear - better than wearing a stocking cap over a golf cap with a brim, or wearing ear warmers with a cap. Really comfortable, and your head doesn't sweat a ton. Easy to flip up the ear flaps when it gets a little warmer. Highly recommend.

This hat feels good as soon as you put it on. You forget it's even on after a few minutes as it feels so comfortable. The ear warmers flap down if you need them, otherwise they stay in place out of the way. Overall an excellent hat.
