Bought this for my 21 month old grandson. I purposely bought big so that he can wear it for two summers. He grabbed it off his head and the little hook that holds the chin strap on, came off. We haven't seen the sun around here for a while so I'll have to hold off commenting on sun protection. All in all, it's a nice hat.

Fits great, with room to grow for my 6 month old. He is a bigger baby, around 23lbs with a decent sized head so the hat fits great, it's just a tad big. If you have a smaller baby it probably won't fit if your kid is 6 months and younger. Looked great, good fabric, exactly what I wanted.

Cute but the dinosaurs from the navy blue hat appear white in the picture not light blue like the actual product. That threw me off since I wasn't expecting that
