Causes: Job Training

Mission: Code Platoon is a 501(c)3 non-profit that helps veterans and military spouses transition into the civilian workforce by providing technical training and career placement.

Results: Code Platoon has graduated 7 classes of students since 2016.We have over 35 alumni working in the software development field.

Target demographics: veterans and military spouses

Direct beneficiaries per year: 30 veterans

Geographic areas served: Chicago

Programs: software development training, mentorships, and paid internships.
