Who needs an alarm clock when you have this.Makes great hot coffee every morning on auto. This is my second one. Great bang for the buck no frills (except auto) coffee maker! Do not overfill with coffee or water. It will spill over!

When you find something that works for you, you keep buying it. I've used this for decades. It has the features I look for and the quality I want, for a much better price than the competition. As long as Black and Decker builds a quality coffee pot, it will continue to be my first choice.

Make sure you close the lid and hold it closed when putting the pot in place. I found out that if you put the pot in place before closing the lid, the basket might be not in the correct place. If that happens, the shut-off valve in the basket isn't open and the basket doesn't drip into the carafe. This is the reason the lid has a snap close on it. It holds down the basket during the brew. It is a great coffee pot, with one small quirk.

I was just looking for a low-end, basic, affordable coffee maker, and picked this one based on reviews and Black Decker reputation and low price. It was easy to set up, simple to use and clean, makes great coffee with no grounds falling through into the coffee pot. It's also programmable, which we haven't tried yet, but that was a feature we wanted. We've been using the coffee pot now for about 2 to 3 weeks, and it does the job, makes great coffee. I am very satisfied with it.

Working fine since purchase 3/22, no problems. But I'm getting the reusable metal filter basket : 1). Save money environment by not using paper filters. 2). regardless of what paper filter I've used, they fold over 90 of the time, releasing grounds into the pot. Have tried dampening them before using, it doesn't matter, they keep folding over. Otherwise fine coffee maker

We just love this coffee pot!! Easy to clean, easy to set up. The timer has it ready for us in the morning. Everything about it just works great. Price is just right too!

Great to have multiple cups of coffee at one time. Very efficient and great that it keeps coffee warm for about 2 hours, then turns off automatically.

We had a coffee maker without a carafe for years and I was afraid that we would break a glass pot but so far so good. This is a 12 cup coffee maker, it can be programmed to start before you wake up and stays warm for 2 hours. The clock is really easy to set (which is a blessing). It's a lot smaller than the coffee maker we had which leaves more counter space. This machine is easy to use and easy to clean. I highly recommend this coffee maker.
