I used this part to replace the broken drain plug on my irreplaceable 1987 Coleman Personal 24 cooler. I was leery at first - it doesn't look anything like the original- but it fits like a glove and works perfectly.

Have a 30-year-old steel belt cooler that the drainage valve cracked because the plastic became brittle with age causing the cooler to be unusable. So pleased to be able to replace the drainage valve and extend the life of the cooler. Easy to so with just a pair of pliers to remove the old piece. a fraction of the price for a replacement cooler.

It's Coleman. Always parts available. My cooler is at least 20 years old. The drain plug snapped off from thousands of bends. I got tired of dropping the detached plug in the mud so ordered this. Problem solved. Tested at the beach last week and it was good as new. Model 5286

This is the short version of this plug. Thankfully I still had the original and could swap them out but I specifically measured to make sure I ordered the proper one. Very disappointed because I paid more to get a Coleman part. Could have got a correct knockoff for half the price.

We love our Coleman cooler and have had it for many years. Unfortunately the plastic drain plug became brittle and fell apart.This part was a perfect replacement and the cooler is like new again.
