Had to ream out the drain hole inside to accommodate the new plug. I used some adhesive on the inside to ensure non-leakage.

Exact replacement but I had to get creative in the install. I used a locking nylon nut with a bolt. I had to thread the bolt and nut together and made a tool to remove the old plug. It's not a half inch plug, which I thought it was. I attempted to use my half inch ratchet but it didn't work. Go to your local hardware store and match it up and make your own tool, super easy once you make the tool to make it work

The drain piece was to short by at least 1/4. I re-used the piece I was getting rid of. This was the model number that was listed would fit my cooler so make sure you measure

Works......the 'old' coolers had a swivel cap......this is a inexpensive replacement.....but it works.....

Lost the cap to my cooler but it is usable again! This fit perfectly and now my cooler doesn't leak when the ice starts to melt.

I replaced old hinged drain plugs on 2 Coleman coolers that I've been using for over 20 years. I don't know how they got broken, but these plugs are a perfect fit very eas are easy to install, on my 48-quart coolers. my coolers are like new again the plugs are reasonably priced too.
