I use my Colman stove during the fall and winter several days a week and for a couple of hours on those days. I usually get about two years out of a stove but the regulator seems to clog up and need replacing yearly. If your just using this for a camping trip or two a year Id bet it would last the better part of a lifetime. Power users expect to replace

Packaging was ok. Small part came in an oversized box.Coleman brand Gas Regulator was all that was wrong with my Coleman stove. Took stove apart after it was not staying lit. Cleaned everything, including the burners, and they still would not stay lit.Figured I would try replacing the gas regulator, which is all the issue was.

Managed to cross thread a discount brand gas bottle and after that always had difficulty getting any gas bottle to screw on properly. Finally just looked for a replacement part. Wish I had done so earlier as this was a simple fix that allowed me to continue using my Coleman stove. We tend to take multi-week camping trips and spend the majority of the time outside in the campsite. The deal is that I do the meal planning and cooking and my wife does the dishes. (Works well for both of us.)Great item and a quick fix for the stove.

Was using an off brand regulator for Coleman propane stove and it has issues with cold and near empty tanks. Swap out with Coleman and neither is a problem. Many other regulators are not at same PSI as Coleman or are just bad at 'regulating'. Don't waste your money, buy Coleman.
