The regulator arrived and I immediately tried to connect it to the stove. After tightening the fitting and connecting the bottle, I discovered I wasn't able to turn the knob! Even with pliers I can barely get it to move!

Most Coleman propane stoves list this regulator part number on the lid of the stove. It's preset so all you do it attach to the stove then attach your propane bottle. And all is done. Great purchase. Came in original Coleman packaging. Legit part. I have a Coleman 5340c series propane camp stove and this is the exact part needed.

At some point, on some camping trip this year, in some state, we lost this gizmo for our 20-year old camp stove. I'm so glad to find a replacement! Yay!

My old regulator leaked propane and caught fire. This one fits well and the threads match well at both the stove end and the propane end.

I am confirming that this 5430 Regulator fits the Coleman 5430B700 2 burner stove. Fair price within range of other retailers.I immediately tested a 1 propane tank, as well as connecting it via an 8' connection hose to a 20 take in a separate setup trial. Both set-ups worked as expected.My replaced original regulator (20 years now?) was starting to leak a little, causing the burners to not burn as designed. The new regulator appears to provide my 5430B700 new life with a full/strong flame again.Buy recommendation.

Overall I gave it a 3 stars only because I couldn't actually use it or return it. The thread pattern was off from my coleman camp stove-surprisingly. But the quality looks and feels real nice. Just wish it would have fit or been able to return to buy appropriate piece I needed.

Our scouting group has a 25 yr old Coleman stove and somehow damaged the regulator tube that I had flames coming out both ends when the stove was ignited! (Was not missing O-rings so was beyond my skill set to repair decided just to replace.)Works as expected and easy to use, just like the original (only this is brand new and does not catch on fire). Tightens properly to the stove and the canister.Very happy camper now!
