Causes: Arts & Culture

Mission: Color Me Empowered provides programming that empowers children and communities through the implementation of visual art education and civic art. We believe that giving children the opportunity to improve their immediate community will enable them to see the power of art and the ability within themselves to bring about positive change in their environment. We envision communities that utilize creative means to generate positive social change.

Results: To date, we've completed more than 30 public art projects and served over 3000 children.

Target demographics: low-income school-aged children in the DFW area

Direct beneficiaries per year: over 1000 students, completed 7 public art projects, and helped improve 5 different areas of Dallas

Geographic areas served: DFW, Texas

Programs: After -school and summer programs.
