I use this watercolor in little mister bottles for backgrounds in watercolor painting. You can wet your paper first or use it dry. The liquid paint saturates quickly so spray a little at a time. Overall, I am happy with this product.

I purchased the liquid water colors for my classroom use. I love the versatility of liquid water colors- so many projects they can be used for. My daughter's teacher saw some of the projects and she went out and bought the same set. The colors are vibrant and a little paint goes a long way.

Sue here. I bought the Color Splash liquid watercolors so that I can make my own fountain pen inks. I can mix my own colors and modify the flow with a little glycerine or liquid dish soap. I am also a card crafter and plan to try some watercolor techniques in the future, but for now I am enjoying the variety of colors I can add to my daily journaling, and the fun if creating my own custom colors.

Absolutely favorite liquid watercolor set. Word to the wise, keep them standing up when in storage. Laying them down will cause them to leak.

Love these! Great value.Just remember they are dye based and not lightest. But they're wonderfully transparent with VIVID colors

Vibrant colors! I use them with my charges and they love mixing the colors and using them for art projects. The only thing I don't like is that the product stains very easily so I have to be careful when using them with the kids.

These color have been great, and we have found lots of uses for them. Recently we added a few drops to spray bottles full of water and made paint for the snow!

It's a nice change from having to mix watercolors and hoping for the same consistency each time you run out of the already mixed paint. Probably not intended for serious work or for anyone with any sort of archival expectations, but this is a fun product to practise or play with. Yellow and orange do not need diluting, red and green are intense but still fine without adding water - however the violet and blue shades are very dark and need to be diluted to bring them all to the same saturation level. Lovely, bright colors.

The colors are vibrant but I received two green instead of blue. Once I figured this out it was too late to return...

Every product I have tried in this line has exceeded expectations and this is no exception. I bought the set to dye some macaroni; the cost wasn't that different than food coloring and not only had I heard good things about the color brightness using this product, it was washable. Well, we've dyed oatmeal, navy beans, rice, at least 5 shapes of pasta, myself, m'hubs, and the dog. We still have more than half a bottle of most of the colors remaining. I didn't wear gloves the first time we dyed; I simply forgot. By the end, my hands were a mess. I mean a serious OMG how am I going to go out in public kind of a mess. I was shocked that 95 of the color disappeared in my first hand washing and by the next day, even that stubborn cuticle staining was gone.

I almost never do reviews but this product was perfect for dyeing rice and beans for my sensory bins! I'm a speech therapist and all my students from preschool to school age love sensory bins. In the past I have used vinegar and food coloring to dye rice and beans, but saw an article about using liquid watercolors online to dye chick peas. I bought these because they were the most value for the money, and I'm so happy I did! I just squirted some watercolor in a bowl with a lid and shook it up with rice or chickpeas and it dried almost instantly once I poured it out onto cookie sheets. So cool!

The only thing to nitpick are the lids to the bottles. The caps are difficult to open and can splash a bit of color everywhere if not careful.

I'm torn about my review. The product is great, but I was sent two greens and no blue. Since blue is my little guy's favorite color, we were pretty disappointed at the oversight.

They didn't work the way I wanted them to with my gel plate but what they did do resulted in beautiful papers for collage and journaling.
