Mission: The Comfort Crew delivers proven resources to help military kids and their family connect and build resiliency in the face of extraordinary challenges.

Results: Over the past 12 years, the Comfort Crew has impacted One Million Military Family Members. The With You All the Way! Tour has provided over 1,000 School Assemblies. Along with Comfort Kits being delivered to over 250,000 military kids, Comfort Crew programs have reached children in 50 States in 16 Countries. Of the surveys collected from those families who have received Comfort Kits, 99% would recommend the Comfort Crew to a friend or family member and 98% reported that the resources helped their child/family.

Target demographics: Military Kids ages 6-12 and their families

Direct beneficiaries per year: 20,000 military kids

Geographic areas served: In all 50 states and all areas where military kids live with their families stationed overseas

Programs: The organization created, produced, and distributed a series of comfort kits that are customized to address specific psychosocial issues military children face including the loss of a loved one, separation due to deployment, or coping with a family member's injuries sustained during combat. Comfort kits include resources that are both educational and comforting to children. The kits include a specific dvd, a journal for self-expression, a keepsake box, and a plush toy.
