Mission: Common Hope promotes hope and opportunity in Guatemala, partnering with children, families, and communities who want to participate in a process of development to improve their lives through education, health care, and housing.
Results: Since our inception in 1986, hundreds of impoverished youth have graduated from high school. While their parents often hadn’t completed grade school, these young adults are going onto professional careers and becoming agents of change in their communities.
Target demographics: Impoverished children and families in Guatemala.

Geographic areas served: 17 impoverished communities in Guatemala
Programs: Our education program helps students attend pre-primary, primary, and secondary school, vocational school, and university. We also provide special education, day care, and extracurricular youth development activities.
