Causes: Food, Food Banks & Pantries

Mission: Community food bank collects, stores and distributes items to individuals and partnering agencies in strict adherence to the texas food and safety guidelines. Community food bank is an independent agency, guided by a volunteer board of directors and not limited in service by zip codes.

Results: Unfortunately due to Covid-19, Fort Worth ISD and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, who normally help raise can foods such as cranberry sauce and stuffing, have not been able to donate this year. This means that we will have to raise funds to make up for their void. We can purchase from Walmart, in bulk for a discount, but we must do it well in advance to ensure we have enough this holiday season. This year more families are in need because of this pandemic. We hope you and your family are blessed enough to help those less fortunate. Please consider donating to our cause of "Feeding Families and Feeding Hope, " this Thanksgiving.

Target demographics: feed North Texas children, families, the homeless, the working poor and their loving pets in need.

Geographic areas served: Fort Worth, Texas

Programs: Food Pantry Program and Pet Food Pantry through our partnership with Don't Forget to Feed Me Pet Food Pantry.
