Used this lock on a vintage cabinet, has different locking plates to fit most applications, great value. Sturdy lock.

Works great and easy to install. Price was worth having it done myself while waiting for condo association and Post Office to quit pointing fingers at each other who should replace the missing lock on the mailbox when I moved into new place. $7 and no more dealing with typical Home Owners Assoc. B.S... totally worth it.

Installing was a little problematic, but mostly due to the cabinet. I bought this to add a lock to a cabinet that had our kids gaming system. We limit their access and this did the trick.

Easy install. Was used on a clear plexiglass donation container that allowed everyone to see the dollar contributions. It gave everyone at the donation booth some piece of mind that we didn't constantly need to keep an eye on the box.

Since my 2001 Honda Passport gas door DOESN'T have a lock. I saw people on YouTube did it. So I bought it to try it out. It worked PERFECTLY for me( I'm not professional by any means). Just be careful when drilling the hole. Just make sure it fits right by making it bigger little at a time!

Bought a file cabinet at a re store someone walked off with the key! So we figured we could replace the whole lock easy enough. Glad my husband is handy! He had to reconfigure a little here there but he gout it to work!

Someone tried to siphon gas out of my van. I first tried a locking gas cap ($28) and it was a pain in the ass to use. Return it and bought this cam lock for $7. Took about an hour to install after drilling a hole in the fuel door. 15 minutes of it was trying to find the star lock washer I dropped, never ever found it. It now is a visual and physical deterrent. The product came with several cam levels and the longer cam level was the best. Tip read the directions or the lock cylinder will fall out and you may never get it back together.
