A dictionary of sign language, so the above listed factors not terribly relevant!! problem is the size of the font used. Better than the smaller version - but still most will require good lighting or a magnifying glass to read. Much prefer the now out of print??? Dictionary, not this Concise version. Still better than nothing - easy to carry around. Seems to offer ASL not 'pidgeon English'. Cheap at the price offered, but definitely a 'concise' dictionary.

i wouldn't consider the condition to be 'very good' more like 'okay' and I recommend the updated sign dictionary since the signs in this one are a little outdated

I purchased this book to help youth group students put sign to song. I have used Elaine Costello books before to learn to communicate with my patients and teach others simple American Sign Language.
