Mission: The Connecticut Historical Society (CHS.org) is an independent, not-for-profit educational organization founded in 1825 as the state's official historical society. Located in Hartford, CT, it is home to a museum and library, the Edgar F. Waterman Research Center, and the Connecticut Cultural Heritage Arts Program.
