Mission: - A RESOURCE FOR COMPANION PARROTS IN NEED, AND THOSE WHO LOVE THEM -Connecticut Parrot Rescue was founded in July 2015 and as of September 2016, is an official 501c3 non-profit public charity. We are completely run by Connecticut-based volunteer foster homes, who aid the transition and rehabilitation processes of companion parrots into loving adoptive homes. Results: 45 parrots adopted 2016 - our first full year of operation!

Target demographics: Companion parrots in need, as well as assist their owners to better provide for the unique needs of parrots.

Direct beneficiaries per year: 45 parrots find homes, many more vetted and disease tested, groomed, boarded, etc.

Programs: Educational clinics, vet clinics, disease and gender testing, grooming, pet-sitting, cage and supply sales, behavior consultations.
