Very light. Fit and adjustment were good. The ability to wet the hat provided for a brief cooling effect.

I have purchased these same hats in the past and they fit perfectly but for some reason this one is small. It definitely fits better than the last one I ordered and exchanged but I will not be ordering any more.

After the first 2 uses, and subsequent hand washes, the pile in the strap totally disappeared, in such way that it is no longer sticking to the other side. Hence it remains wobbly, unreliable - in short a waste of money!-.

This definitely helped cool me down when temperatures were over 100 degrees. You need to add water often. I took a extra water bottle with regular tap water just for my hat.

I am not really a hat person but for sports like kayaking they are a life saver. I take a zip lock bag with ice/water and keep the hat in there and refresh it when it starts to dry. It really does keep you cooler and the sun out of your eyes. I have it in 3 colors.
