Mission: Preserve the history and culture of Corinth, Maine
Results: Over 100 artifacts and documents were donated or purchased this past year; a successful yard sale fundraiser in 2017 will allow some much-needed repairs and improvements in the museum building this coming summer; a fruitful collaboration with a retired professor to write and publish a book based on her gt. grandmothers memories of growing up in Corinth allowed us to offer her book to the community -- the author generously donated 500 copies of this book for us to sell to raise money for climate control in our museum; a new exhibit is finished, featuring Corinth bridal gowns (loaned or donated) from 1869 to 1970; once again we hosted the local 4th graders for a Children's History Tour; over 200 volunteer hours were logged last year.
Target demographics: Citizens of all ages in in our area, genealogists, antique lovers, history students
Direct beneficiaries per year: 0ver 80 school children, 14 genealogy researchers, and generally, all citizens of Corinth who enjoy our museum
