Causes: Arts & Culture

Mission: Corvallis arts center, inc. Is a not-for-profit organization with a mission to nurture artistic expression and to enhance the creative life of the community.

Programs: Education programs include art classes, workshops and open studios taught at the center, as well as extensive on-site arts and culture programming. Through the on-site programs, the center works with local schools to integrate engaging arts learning with other classroom subjects through project-based learning activities. Two subsets of this program are the young artists programs in which identified at-risk youth are taught healthy and artistic outlets of expression.

exhibitions are presented by the center to promote artists' work, taking the form of galleries, performances and other exhibition displays.

artshop promotes local artists and facilitates the sale of their work.

artscare was a program serving health care facilities by providing high quality artwork, workshops, and art experiences to improve the atmosphere for patients. The center gifted all rights, obligations and control of the program to samaritan health services effective august 30,2016.As such, artscare is no longer a program of the center as of june 30,2017.
