Overall, lift works well and is easy to assemble. Even includes wrenches so I didn't have to break out the took kit. Hardest part was sliding under the edge of the tub. However, with a lever and fulcrum, you can easily get an inch or two and in it slides. My cover is 7' by 7' and fits easily. The pneumatic lift provides support lowering and raising the lid.

The hot tub dealer tried to sell me an opener for 500$. This one is super cool and functions great. You can mount direct to cabinet or it comes with a plate to put under the hot tub. I recommend using the plate so you dont have to screw into the cabinet. Hydraulics are very powerful so you can put the cover back on with minimal effort. Also looks nice and orderly when cover is off

Works well and is totally out of site when down; has a wide range of adjustment for the height of the tub and the thickness of the cover when folded. Doesn't require making holes the the tub exterior to secure it.

I like that this is installed without having to screw on directly to the hot tub though I did have to make modifications since I didn't want to empty my tub. Also the opening ws was too narrow for my extra thick tapered cover so I needed to bend the top bars to create a wider opening. I tend to leave the arms in place ready to receive the cover. Rather than opening from the side, I have it set up so i can step on to the spa steps, open the cover away from me halfway, enter the hot tub, push the cover back and pivot it down. Closing is similar though I do get out before closing the cover all the way. The pivoting is effortless with the hydrolic arm. In my case the cover lifter is mostly unseen whereas many other cover lifters have parts exposed and imo can detract from the appearance of the hot tub to some degree. I feel i could have paid less from other sellers but was in a rush.

I bought this a couple of years ago and it has worked with absolutely no issues and takes the cover completely out of sight. Very easy to use. The only difficult part was getting the foot of the swifter under the hot tub because that's how it works. You need a couple strong people giving the hot tub a quick lift to slide it under there. After that, it's all easy.

This lift makes it so easy to remove my spa cover all my myself. I didn't even have to attach it to the side of the spa, so no added holes.

The holder works great but my cover is a thick winter cover. I need another extension to make it easier to slide my cover into the hoops. Where can I get another set like what came with.
