Not exactly sure what to say about the pencils. I brought them for my grandson who started high school this year who likes to color. I haven't heard any complaints so I guess it's smooth sailing. I always buyCrayola because they are the best!!

I guess Crayola doesn't have a Quality Assurance department anymore....because some of the pencils would crumble when I tried sharpening them. Then I had to retry and retry before I could get a nice point and where the wood wouldn't split...by then I'd wasted the pencil. I did NOT expect this from Crayola.

They are great and do what they're supposed to do. However, don't send your children to school with them in the package they came in because it doesn't close properly. I can't tell you how many times they've fallen out.

The only issue I have with them is that they do t sharpen very well. They splinter and the lead in a couple of the pencils just continues to break.
