Causes: Education

Mission: We directly equip Durham Public School teachers with the classroom supplies they need to help reduce barriers to success for every Durham Public School student. Teachers never pay for the supplies they receive from us.

Results: During the 2021-2022 academic year we fulfilled orders for 1,604 teachers valued at more than $107,000 of the most needed classroom supplies. Teachers from all 53 schools in the Durham Public School District engaged with our programs and services.

Programs: Our Classroom Essentials program provides the most needed school supplies to Durham Public School teachers at no cost. Our available inventory of supplies includes crayons, pencils, and glue sticks to printing paper, notebooks, hand sanitizer, tissues, and more. We offer online ordering and school delivery so that all teachers in our district have the opportunity to benefit from this service.
