Clip seems sturdy. My 2 year old had mins unsupervised with it and it didn't break which is saying something.

Lasted a week and then the plastic house that holds the retractable spring broke into pieces. Tried to snap it back together but would not hold.

The product seems okay. The retractable cable seems good quality. One of the card holders was in perfect condition, the other one was not so much... You'll see it in the picture; hopefully something heavy can flatten it. The material for the card holder seems pretty sturdy, but I'll get to see how long it lasts. Overall, I can't give it a perfect score because how bad of shape one of the card holders is in, but from what I seen in the good one, it seems like a thick and sturdy card holder that might not be prone to tearing. I'll update as needed and see if anything changes

So I got these to hold my little box cutter blade on my waistline for easy accessibility. The clip part broke while I snap it on my belt loop after like the 6th time... not to thrilled about that but the other one has lasted...5 weeks or so so far

Received these badge holders yesterday. I work event security at a local venue and having a lanyard around your neck when dealing with an unhappy patron is undesirable. With this holder I can clip my ID to my collar and eliminate the possibility of being grabbed by a lanyard around my neck. Additionally, with the retractable reel, I can easily scan my id in and out at the time clock.

We travel on motorcycle across the United States and stop at national parks along the way. We use these to put the pass in one and ID in the other for quick, easy access to the pass for entry at the gate.

The construction and durability of this badge holder has improved drastically over the past 10 years in my opinion. This product is sturdy and the retractor is very reliable. Another badge holders. This has been an issue where the cord starts to not retract all the way, but I have not had this issue yet.

The retractable clip is really nice and I've put it on my lanyard. I bought a nicer hard plastic badge holder so I threw this flimsy one away.

Somehow both plastic sleeves have broken and as a result my ID fell out and was lost!! Not worth buying this for the expenses incurred from a lost ID.
