This hat is exactly what is advertised but be aware, the front band where the center of the bill is has no give. Even after completely opening the back of the hat so that there is no tightness, the bill is still flat and has no give for the curve of my forehead and can leave a red mark from the pressure.

These hats are quite possibly the best on the market. Use these for serious monogramming as the front of the cap is tightly weaved meaning the results are outstanding.

It has a cheap feel to it. Too light. Also there's a cross stitch in the middle of the forehead band that hurts your head. It's just part of how it's made, but it prevents me from wanting to wear it.

I love this hat. I'm on my second one now. First one, after wearing for several weeks during the summer, got pretty sweaty and it started to show. So I washed it. Didn't hold up very well in the washer, so I threw it away and bought another one. It's pretty inexpensive to replace, fits well, and I like the way it looks, so five stars.

My husband just finished chemo and wears hats daily, we found a Richardson hat at a small beach shop and it was his favorite fit. We had tried SEVERAL hats and returned/gave away every one. It's great! He wants more already. I handmade made a patch and embroidered it on, it's of our son's handwriting “cancer sucks”.
