These run a little small apparently. The drawstring is too short to be tied. I ordered an XL. I'm between a 38 and 40 waist and always order this size. The shorts fit fine, not much extra room but its fine. Also I ordered the purple and its not as vibrant in person. More of a midnight purple which I still like but not as bright as the picture. I'm going to take out the drawstring and replace it with a longer shoe string. Order a size up!

I've always really liked Russell brand shorts. I first ran into them when we got them as gear when I was coaching football. They are well made, comfortable and hold up well. Plus, I love pockets in my shorts.

Great product. Needs longer draw strings. Not fun fishing it out. Older pairs of Russels did not do this. Fix issue.

Draw Strings inconsistent between pairs made in the same color. I have bought 3 pairs in one week and the first had a generous draw string, the last two pairs must have draw strings 4 inches shorter.I really like these shorts normally and will buy them again. I bought the grey instead of the black I wanted, because of the at least one month wait to get black ones, and grey was in stock.

My husband walks on his treadmill several days a week. He had a variety of work-out shorts and decided he liked his pair of Russell Shorts the best. So we ordered three more pairs and he is very pleased!
